As the primary resource for the Quad Cities' gift-planning community, we unite to elevate philanthropy for the greater good. Our distinct approach involves fostering education and promoting collaboration to enhance charitable gift planning, thereby enriching our community through the generous contributions of our donors and clients. In 2024, our members had the exclusive opportunity to learn from and network with expert guest speakers, including Johni Hays, J.D., FCEP, Executive Vice President, Thompson & Associates on Tax-Smart Gift Planning for Farming Families , Melanie Norton, Founder/CEO of Norton Philanthropic Council, on Weaving Planned Giving into Your Donor Conversations, and Michael George, Senior Development Officer, The Catholic Foundation on Focus on Relationship: How Legacy Circles Help Launch or Reestablish a Gift Planning Program. We're thrilled to invite you to be part of our 2025 membership year. This year, we're offering a unique opportunity with reduced membership rates. For 2025, the membership dues are $50 for professional advisors and just $35 for nonprofit professionals. As a member, you'll gain access to a range of valuable benefits, including: Free access to learning events, with meals included at our in-person events, and the opportunity to earn Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits when available, providing you with valuable knowledge and networking opportunities Opportunities to network and get mentoring from experienced professionals in our community. The Quad City Planned Giving Council works to increase our region’s charitable resources through gift planning education events, monthly networking, peer mentoring, and support for accountants, financial planners, attorneys, trust officers, investment advisors, charitable gift planners, major gift officers, development officers, and fundraisers. The Quad City Planned Giving Council works to increase our region’s charitable resources through gift-planning education events, monthly networking, peer mentoring, and support for accountants, financial planners, attorneys, trust officers, investment advisors, charitable gift planners, major gift officers, development officers, and fundraisers. The Council welcomes new members and guests to all programs. Individual memberships are $50 per calendar year for professional advisors and $35 for nonprofit professionals, and a meal is complimentary to members for many learning events. Access to continuing education credits for appropriate seminars, including CLE and CFRE, is available when the program content meets the standards and guidelines of the credit-issuing body. The Council is affiliated with the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners .
