The Quad City Planned Giving Council is a unique platform that enhances our region's planned charitable giving. As the primary resource for the Quad Cities' gift-planning community, we unite to elevate philanthropy for the greater good. Our distinct approach involves fostering education and promoting collaboration to enhance charitable gift planning, thereby enriching our community through the generous contributions of our donors and clients.
In 2024, our members had the exclusive opportunity to learn from and network with expert guest speakers, including Johni Hays, J.D., FCEP, Executive Vice President, Thompson & Associates on Tax-Smart Gift Planning for Farming Families, Melanie Norton, Founder/CEO of Norton Philanthropic Council, on Weaving Planned Giving into Your Donor Conversations, and Michael George, Senior Development Officer, The Catholic Foundation on Focus on Relationship: How Legacy Circles Help Launch or Reestablish a Gift Planning Program.
We're thrilled to invite you to be part of our 2025 membership year. This year, we're offering a unique opportunity with reduced membership rates. For 2025, the membership dues are $50 for professional advisors and just $35 for nonprofit professionals. As a member, you'll gain access to a range of valuable benefits, including:
-
Free access to learning events, with meals included at our in-person events, and the opportunity to earn Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits when available, providing you with valuable knowledge and networking opportunities
-
Opportunities to network and get mentoring from experienced professionals in
our community.
-
Monthly round table discussion lunches are held on the first Tuesday of the month.
-
Free on-site consultation, access to planned giving resources, and help with board presentations for nonprofit organizations. These practical benefits can save you time and effort, allowing you to focus on what matters: charitable work.
As a member, you'll have access to valuable resources from the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, empowering you with the knowledge and tools to excel in planned giving.
